Marshall Ray Ralston, age 80, Elkhart, formerly of Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Monday, April 9, 2012 at his residence.

He was born April 22, 1931 in Etna Green to Orval and Ethel Hamman Ralston. He was a graduate of Nappanee High School and lifetime resident in the Nappanee/Elkhart area. He was an Army veteran and had served in Germany with the Military Police. Mr. Ralston had worked in the RV Industry in Sales, he had also worked at Duo-Therm in LaGrange for many years. He attended First Church of God in Goshen, where he served as head usher.

Surviving are daughters, Lori (Jeff) Stewart, Elkhart, Diana (Gary) Selvey, Muncie, a son, Dennis (Laura) Ralston, Elkhart, grandchildren, Steven Fields, Hannah Ralston and Justin Ralston, and sisters, Beverly (Chuck) Ritter and Norma Freed both of Nappanee.

Family and friends may call from 5:30 – 8:00 Friday and 10-12 Saturday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Saturday at the Funeral Home. Rev. Sam Bennett from First Church of God in Nappanee will officiate and burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. There will be Military Graveside Services by the Nappanee American Legion.
