Life Legacy
Anna Mae Wise, age 81, of Nappanee, died at 9:10 am, Monday, September 5, 2011, at her daughter’s residence in Nappanee after a short illness. She was born January 21, 1930 in Nappanee to Noble and Blanche Balsley Middaugh. On March 26, 1949 she married Lloyd L. Wise in Nappanee. She was a graduate of Nappanee High School and a lifetime resident of Nappanee. Anna Mae was a homemaker and a loving mom and grandma.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, daughters, Gloria Ann (Jack) Hamman, Leesburg, Sue (Duane) Moneyheffer, Nappanee, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister, Mary (Max) Truex, Wakarusa, brothers, Kenneth (Pat) Middaugh and Clarence Middaugh, both of Nappanee. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Betty Lou.
Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am, Monday, Sept. 12 at the Funeral Home. Duane Moneyheffer will officiate assisted by Rev.Tom Schiefer. Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery.
