Life Legacy
Letha F. Flory, age 92, of 1700 Waterfall Dr., Nappanee, died at 5:05 pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at her residence after a 6 month illness. She was born June 15, 1919 in Etna Green, IN to Ray and Zelda Sumpter Thomas. On May 20, 1938 she married Clarence V. Flory in Bourbon. He preceded in death March 15, 1992.
Mrs. Flory was a graduate of LaPaz High School. She was a farmwife and homemaker. Letha was a lifetime member of Camp Creek Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed her family.
Surviving are a son, John (Pam-deceased) Flory, Leesburg, daughters, Janet (Larry) Burckhart, Melbourne, FL, Bonnie Wiedemen, Bourbon, and Debbie Schmucker, Goshen, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Hughes and Lucille Maxson.
Friends may call from 3-8 Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday. Rev. Mark Reige will officiate and burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Camp Creek Church of the Brethren.
