Life Legacy
Noah T. Borkholder, age 68, 8427 W 1050 N, Nappanee, died at 9:07 am,Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Goshen General Hospital. He was born December 2, 1942 to Tobias A. and Anna Bontrager Borkholder. He married Susie Carolyn Miller on Dec. 8, 1966, in Marshall County. She preceded in death on October 29, 2010.
Surviving is a son, Jacob ( Bertha)Borkholder, Nappanee; son-in-law Devon (Martha) Schmucker, Lovington, IL, 5 grandchildren, Malinda, Lois, Nathan, Luke and Harvey Schmucker, 2 step grandchildren, Sue Ann (Everett) Lehman and Caleb Schmucker, 2 Step-great-grandchildren, Heather and Wyatt Lehman; Brothers, Mahlon(Marilyn)Borkholder, Nappanee, Simon (Esther) Borkholder, Brighten, IA, Levi (Katie) Borkholder, Bremen, and Tobias (Martha) Borkholder Jr., Nappanee; Sisters, Viola Borkholder, Nappanee and Lena (Daniel) Miller, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Susie Carolyn Borkholder, twin sons, Norman and Noah Borkholder, Jr., daughter, Anna Sue Schmucker and grandson, Timothy Schmucker.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. on Sunday and all day Monday and Tuesday at Jacob Borkholder’s residence where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 9:30. The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will lead the service. Burial will be at Graber Cemetery.
