Life Legacy
Oliver C. “Red” Truex, age 74, of 356 S. Locke St., Nappanee, died at 1:25 pm, Friday, at his residence after a short illness.
He was born February 29, 1936 in Nappanee to S. Charles and Ethel Marie Kilmer Truex. He is survived by his wife, Sandy, a son, Dan (Deb) Truex, daughters, Tammy (Bruce) Teal, Deb Wallace, and Tracy Truex, all of Nappanee; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a sister, Francis Shaw, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gilford Truex.
Mr. Truex was a truck driver and a member of Whiskerville Truckers in Nappanee.
Friends may call Thursday, December 23, 2010, from 2-4 pm at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 pm.
